Once upon a time a man named of Dharam singh lived in a village Bharya.
He was about to become a father. When her wife Padma was on the hospital. She gave twins birth. But one was son and another was daughter. Then he shocked and started anxiety That daughter has born . After some days when her wife came home. Then he asked her wife, Padma as you know that our economical condition is very poor and how will we manage her wedding expenses? so I am going to give my daughter to my friend Ravi. They are childless and can upbringing her. Her wife started crying and says if you can bear the responsibilities of all of us then can't you upbringing this little sweetheart? But Dharam Singh hears nothing and forcely gave her to his friends wife.
After some weeks Dharam Singh taught to walk his son. But he didn't used to scold him. Slowly- slowly he grew older with a lot of tantrums.
Now after 20 years,
His son says papa I want to buy a motorcycle. Then Dharam Singh said child you know our condition but still you are saying. He said I don't know anything. My all friends have a motorcycle so I also want. Then Dharam Singh kept her wife jewelry mortgage and bought it.
After some years for his son business he had to keep his farm mortgage.
And then when he started earning some money so he got him married with great pomp. After marriage his attitude changed even more. Now he started fighting with his father.
Finally one day he get out of the home of his parents their own home. After that while walking they reached a temple where one old woman was serving food . Then her wife said you haven't eaten anything from yesterday. Come and eat something. When they were sitting for eating so that lady was serving food. She came to them and started saying. Haven't you recognised me. I am your friend Ravi's wife. You gave me your daughter. Look there she is your daughter and nowadays she is a doctor and has a old age home .
Their daughter saw them and they went her home .
In this way we have learnt that, "we should not do discrimination to boys and girls because daughter is not inferior to sons".

एक बार की बात है, धरम सिंह नाम का एक आदमी एक गाँव भार्या में रहता था।
वह पिता बनने वाले थे। जब उनकी पत्नी पद्मा अस्पताल में थीं। उसने जुड़वाँ बच्चों को जन्म दिया। लेकिन एक बेटा था और दूसरी बेटी थी। तब वह चौंक गया और चिंता करने लगा कि बेटी ने जन्म लिया है। कुछ दिनों के बाद जब उसकी पत्नी घर आई। फिर उन्होंने अपनी पत्नी पद्मा से कहा कि जैसा की तुम जानती हो जानते हैं कि हमारी आर्थिक स्थिति बहुत खराब है और हम उसकी शादी का खर्च कैसे उठाएंगे? इसलिए मैं अपनी बेटी को अपने दोस्त रवि को देने जा रहा हूं। वे निःसंतान हैं और उसकी परवरिश कर सकते हैं। उसकी पत्नी ने रोना शुरू कर दिया और कहा कि अगर तुम हम सभी की जिम्मेदारियां उठा सकते हो तो क्या तुम इस छोटी सी नन्ही जान की परवरिश क्यों नहीं कर सकते? लेकिन धरम सिंह कुछ भी नहीं सुनते हैं और उसे अपने दोस्तों की पत्नी को जबरदस्ती दे देते हैं।कुछ हफ्तों के बाद धरम सिंह ने अपने बेटे को चलना सिखाया। वह उसे डाँटते नहीं थे । धीरे-धीरे- धीरे वह बहुत नखरे के साथ बड़ा होता गया ।
अब 20 साल बाद,
उसके बेटे ने कहा पापा मैं मोटरसाइकिल खरीदना चाहता हूं। तब धरम सिंह ने कहा कि बच्चा तुम हमारी हालत जानते हो लेकिन फिर भी तुम कह रहे हो। उसने कहा मुझे कुछ नहीं पता। मेरे सभी दोस्तों के पास एक मोटरसाइकिल है इसलिए मुझे भी चाहिए। तब धरम सिंह ने अपनी पत्नी गहने गिरवी रख दिए और उसे खरीद दिया ।अपने पुत्र के व्यवसाय के लिए कुछ वर्षों के बाद उन्हें अपने खेत को गिरवी रखना पड़ा।और फिर जब उसने कुछ पैसे कमाने शुरू किए तो उन्होंने बड़ी धूमधाम से उसकी शादी कर दी। शादी के बाद उनका नजरिया और भी बदल गया। अब वह अपने पिता से लड़ने लगा।
अंत में एक दिन वह अपने माता-पिता को अपने घर से निकाल दिया । उसके बाद चलते हुए वे एक मंदिर में पहुँचे जहाँ एक बूढ़ी औरत भोजन परोस रही थी। तब उसकी पत्नी ने कहा कि आपने कल से कुछ नहीं खाया है। आओ और कुछ खाओ। जब वे खाने के लिए बैठी थीं, तो जो महिला भोजन परोस रही थी। वह उनके पास आई और कहने लगी। क्या तुमने मुझे पहचाना नहीं? मैं आपके दोस्त रवि की पत्नी हूं। आपने मुझे अपनी बेटी दिया था । देखो वह तुम्हारी बेटी है और आजकल वह एक डॉक्टर है और उसके पास एक वृद्धाश्रम है।
उनकी बेटी ने उन्हें देखा और वे उसके घर गए।
इस तरह हमने सीखा है कि, "हमें लड़कों और लड़कियों के साथ भेदभाव नहीं करना चाहिए क्योंकि बेटी बेटों से कम नहीं है।
