Ego is the biggest enemy of knowledge, beautiful story ( hindi and english) (14/7/2020)

Here above , there is one  picture which is  one of the best picture of paintings so today's story is about painter and his son Sameer . So let's start the story.

A long time ago, there was a painter who used to make wonderful paintings. He used to sell his each painting in rupees 500 and got 15000 rupees in month. In this way he lived his livelihood. This went for many years. But now he had been too old . He was not able to make more paintings because while making painting his hands were shivering. So one day he thought I should give this skill to my son. He  also learnt this skill from his father so he started teaching his son Sameer like how to do colour?, how to  imagine the painting?, How to use PC? And how to sell paintings etc. Slowly- slowly his son learnt. And after some days his son made his first painting and went to market for selling it. He sold it only rupees 100 . He told his father then his father became happy. But his son was not happy. He said to his father, you used to sell your painting in rupees 500 but I sold it only 100 rupees. I think you definitely know something different that I don't know. I want learn something more. His father taught him more and after one month again he made a painting and went to market. But still  this times he sold it only 300 rupees. His father was so happy and said you are progressing  but still he was downcast.  Again he said   you even now definitely know something more than me. His father said, don't downcast my son, I will always teach you something new. So next day again he made a attractive painting and went to market.  When he came then he was very happy because he sold his painting in rupees 700. His father became happy and said now I will teach you how you have to sell your painting in rupees 1000.  Sameer said I don't need to learn something more because I have sold my painting in rupees 700 and you haven't sold it more than 500 . After that his father said now never  you will not be able to sell your painting more than 700 rupees  because you are going to stop learning. Once I also said like you to your grandfather this only because he used to sell his painting in rupees 300 and I sold it in rupees 500 . But because of my ego I stopped learning that's why I couldn't sell my painting in more than 500 rupees.  After all he made his own son understand. He told that ego is the biggest enemy of knowledge.

In this way we have learnt that, we should be ego free. We should not stopped learning because whose learning stopped, thier progress also stopped.  That's why we should learn something from every human. Every human knows something different but same person doesn't know everything.

Thank you all
