Once, there was a famous doctor of Lucknow. His name was Salim. He was cancer specialist. And he spent his entire life for serving the people. But now he was in the age of retirement. That's why award meeting was organised for him in delhi. They invited the doctor Salim for having the Life Time Achievement Award. As, they saved the life of many people so all people of Lucknow was ready to meet him on the organisation.
So next day, he went to the airport but some technical fault caused the flight to cancel and after that there was no other flight. That's why he decided to go there by hire the cab. And he is gone. When he reached half way then the driver said, sir, there is a lot of jam ahead. And we will not be able to reach the night. Did we go the other way? He said all right.
After that, they got out of the way ahead but that road was very bumpy. And the driver forgot the way. Then he said to the doctor, sir, I have forgotten the way, and what should I do now? Suddenly they saw an old lady. They went to her and asked, we have to go to Delhi but we have forgotten the way? Can you tell me ? Old lady said with politeness, come to inside my home, drink water and then leave after sometime.

Finally they went and she gave them water with snacks. Then doctor Salim was very impressed and asked her, do you live alone here? Old lady said, no, I live with my grandson. And his parents died in childhood. When he was two years old. But now his health is also bad and he is about to leave me. she started crying after saying this. Then doctor Salim became so sad. And asked, what happened to him. She said, he has a cancer . I showed him many doctors but there was no improvement. Then everyone said that, only doctor Salim can cure him. Rather, I went to meet him but couldn't meet. But now, I have left everything to God , if I have sincerely done my devotion to him then God will definitely cure my grandson. After hearing this, doctor Salim was stunned and his hair stood up.
Then they understood that this was happening to me since morning because

and with astonishment in his eyes, then he told the old lady, I am a doctor Salim. God is the one who sent me and I will treat your grandson.

उसके बाद, वे आगे के रास्ते से निकल गए लेकिन वह सड़क बहुत ऊबड़ खाबड़ थी। और ड्राइवर रास्ता भूल गया। फिर उसने डॉक्टर से कहा, सर, मैं रास्ता भूल गया हूँ, और अब मुझे क्या करना चाहिए? अचानक उन्होंने एक बुढ़िया को देखा। वे उसके पास गए और पूछा, हमें दिल्ली जाना है लेकिन हम रास्ता भूल गए हैं? क्या आप मुझे बता सकती हो ? बूढ़ी औरत ने विनम्रता से कहा, मेरे घर के अंदर आओ, पानी पियो और फिर कुछ देर बाद निकल जाना।
अंत में वे गए और उसने उन्हें नाश्ते के साथ पानी दिया। तब डॉक्टर सलीम बहुत प्रभावित हुए और उनसे पूछा, क्या आप यहाँ अकेले रहते हैं? बुढ़िया ने कहा, नहीं, मैं अपने पोते के साथ रहती हूं। और उसके माता-पिता की मृत्यु बचपन में ही हो गई थी। जब वह दो साल का था। लेकिन अब उसकी तबीयत भी खराब है और वह भी मुझे छोड़कर जाने वाला है। यह कहकर वह रोने लगी। तब डॉक्टर सलीम बहुत दुखी हुए। और पूछा, उसे क्या हुआ। उसने कहा, उसे कैंसर है। मैंने उसे कई डॉक्टर को दिखाया लेकिन कोई सुधार नहीं हुआ। तब सभी ने कहा कि, केवल डॉक्टर सलीम ही इसका इलाज कर सकते हैं। बल्कि, मैं उनसे मिलने भी गई लेकिन मुलाकात नहीं कर पाई । लेकिन अब, मैंने भगवान के ऊपर सब कुछ छोड़ दिया है, अगर मैंने ईमानदारी से उनकी भक्ति की है तो भगवान निश्चित रूप से मेरे पोते को ठीक कर देंगे । यह सुनकर डॉक्टर सलीम दंग रह गए और उनके रोंगटे खड़े हो गए।
तब वे समझ गए कि यह सब सुबह से मेरे साथ इसिलिये हुआ है क्योंकि उन्हें अपने भगवान पर भरोसा था।
और अपनी आँखों में आश्चर्य के साथ, उन्होंने बुढ़िया से कहा, मैं ही डॉक्टर सलीम हूँ। भगवान ने ही मुझे भेजा है और मैं आपके पोते का इलाज करूंगा।
उसके बाद, ड्राइवर ने कहा, लेकिन साहब, आपको अपना लाइफ टाइम अचीवमेंट अवार्ड लेने जाना है। डॉक्टर सलीम ने कहा, उस पुरस्कार से ज्यादा इसकी जान बचाना जरूरी है।
